Let's start with the basics: what exterior accessories exist and what are they for?

Sports hubcaps

If you have steel rims and want to change the look quickly, design hubcaps are one of the easiest and most effective options. We have everything from turbine-type models to matte black or carbon finishes. Changing them takes 10 minutes and the change is noticeable.

Wings and spoilers

You don't need a rally wing for your car to look sportier. There are discreet lip-type options that attach to the trunk edge and look great. You also have more aggressive wings if you're looking for something more radical.

Tip: if your car is white or gray, a wing in gloss black or carbon creates contrast and enhances the rear.

Side skirts, diffusers and splitters

These are the typical "details that complete the look". Visually they lengthen and widen the car, making it look lower and more planted to the ground.

Rear diffuser: placed under the rear bumper.
Front splitter: under the front bumper.

Many come with high-strength 3M tape, ready to install without tools.

Mirror housings and small details

Changing mirror housings to glossy black, carbon, or aluminum may seem like a minor detail, but it adds a lot. The same goes for shark fin antennas, chrome trim, or fog light vinyl wraps.

How to choose your exterior accessories well?

It's not just about "looking good". There are several factors you should consider before jumping in:

1. Is it compatible with your car?

There are universal accessories and others specific to each model. Make sure you know which one you're buying. At CKC we always indicate compatibility for each product.

2. What material is it?

Here it's not just about appearance, but also durability:

3. How is it installed?

Hub caps: snap-on installation.
Wings and spoilers: 3M tape or screws (some models combine both).
Splitters/diffusers: 3M tape, screws or rivets depending on design.
Mirror covers: replace the original ones or are placed on top.

Accessories with no brand or clear references.
Parts that don't come with instructions or quality adhesive.
Thin PVC accessories that deform in the sun.

Combine finishes: for example, gloss black with aluminum or carbon.
Check compatibility before buying: this way you avoid returns or forced fits.

Frequently asked questions from our customers

Do I need to certify exterior accessories?

In general, no. As long as you don't alter the car's structure or go beyond the bumper limits, you can install wings, trim pieces or diffusers without certification.

Can I install these accessories myself?

Many of them yes. Hub caps, small spoilers, mirror covers or decorative vinyl wrap install without tools. At CKC we usually indicate the difficulty level on the product sheet.

What if I want to return the car to its original condition?

Always keep the original parts. Many accessories can be removed with heat (in the case of 3M tape) and leave no marks if done carefully.

What about the ITV?

What matters is that they don't protrude too much from the width of the car or cover lights, license plates or sensors. If you have doubts, consult with us first or ask directly at your ITV station.
