Over time, there are things in the car that start to show… a lot. Upholstery is one of them. It doesn't matter if you keep the car always clean: the sun, wear and tear, the years and use eventually leave their mark. And of course, when the interior starts to show signs of wear, you don't get in the same way. From CKC AutoSport, where we have been working for more than 20 years with quality accessories to customize cars, we tell you everything you can do to improve the interior. No nonsense. Only real solutions that work.
Renewing your car's upholstery is easier than it seems
We are not going to talk to you about upholstering a car from scratch at a high-end workshop (although we also mention it). Here you will find practical ideas, economical solutions, real advice and products that you can use yourself. Perfect if:
You have a detached ceiling or a worn seat.
You want sports upholstery without getting into modifications.
You are thinking about selling your car and want to give it a facelift.
You simply feel like renovating the interior because it no longer appeals to you.
Also, we leave you links to useful sections of our store such asCKC seat covers or the complete catalog at CKC Auto Sport.
Forget about old-fashioned covers. Nowadays you have covers that:
Fit perfectly to the seat.
They have a sports design, with visible stitching and technical fabrics.
They are compatible with side airbags and ISOFIX.
And the best part: they install in minutes.
They are a quick, effective and economical option to completely change the interior appearance without removing anything. Plus, they protect the original upholstery.

Some areas wear out faster than others. The most common:
Headliner peeling.
Door panels with loose fabric.
Center armrest worn out.
If that happens to you, there's no need to reupholster the whole thing. With some skill, spray adhesive and automotive fabric, you can make it look like new. You only need some time and patience.
Tip: if you're going to use adhesive, make sure to remove the old foam and work in a well-ventilated area.
If your car deserves it (or you want to get it perfect to sell), you can opt for professional reupholstering. Here we're talking about completely changing:
Front and rear seats.
Door panels.
Roof, pillars, headrests…
And choose materials like Alcantara, faux leather or even leather. It's not the most economical option, but the result is a different car inside.
That said: make sure the upholsterer respects airbag compatibility and original stitching. At CKC we work with several professionals who do this type of custom work.
There are no right answers here, only options that fit you. These are the most common ones we see in store:

Realistic advice: if you have children, pets, or use your car a lot, go for materials that are easy to clean and won't suffer with use.
Sometimes the upholstery is fine overall, but has some damage that bothers you every time you get in. For those cases, these are the solutions we most recommend:
New fabric + special automotive spray adhesive.
You remove the side trim pieces, clean well, apply the adhesive, and place the fabric.
In an afternoon you have it done and it looks brand new.
Use an upholstery repair kit. They usually include patches or textile filler to hide the damage.
It won't be perfect, but it improves a lot.
Nylon thread + curved needle + time.
If you don't feel confident, there are shops that specialize in this type of repair.
When the seat is in bad shape, putting on a good cover saves you time and money. And you can choose the style you want.
At CKC AutoSport we have universal covers and semi-custom fit models that look great.
You don't need to change the dashboard to give the interior a racing touch. This is what our customers install the most:
Seat covers with red or blue stitching.
Sport gear shift knobs.
Steering wheels wrapped in leather or Alcantara (check if yours has an airbag).
Carbon details for center console or doors.
And if you want to go further: full Alcantara upholstery or perforated synthetic leather. The feel changes completely.
If you're going to work on the interior, take the opportunity to complete the look with accessories that make a difference:
New floor mats: one of the things that changes the appearance the most.
California Scents air fresheners: pleasant scent without being overwhelming.
Trims for pedals or door frame: small details that add up.
Padded armrests or seat belt covers: comfort and aesthetics.
You can find all of this directly on our website CKC Auto Sport
It depends on what you want to do. Seat covers, headliners, or small details, yes. Complete seat upholstery, better left to professionals.
Universal ones adapt quite well, but if your car has side airbags or seats with special shapes, look for a compatible or specific cover.
Yes. Most are removable or allow cleaning with a damp cloth and neutral soap. Avoid harsh products.
If the original upholstery is very damaged, seat covers are the most practical solution. If you want a top-notch finish and your car deserves it, reupholstering is better… but also more expensive.
Without a doubt. A well-maintained interior gives a better impression. And if you're thinking about selling, the investment is worth it.
Changing upholstery is no longer an expert's job. Today you can improve your car's interior with solutions that really work, without wasting time or complicating things.
From CKC AutoSport, we help you choose what works best for you based on your usage type, the style you're looking for, and your car's current condition. We have seat covers, accessories, air fresheners, and plenty of references from leading brands so you can renovate your interior just as much as your exterior.
