What is FIA homologation? The International Automobile Federation (FIA) is the highest governing body of motorsport worldwide. One of the functions of the FIA is precisely to establish and enforce safety standards for motorsports to guarantee the physical integrity of drivers and co-drivers.

FIA homologation is a certification process of a product such as a racing suit, ensuring that it meets safety standards. The safety standards of the FIA certification process are based on tests that evaluate fire resistance, abrasion, material strength...

Why is FIA homologation important?

FIA homologation is fundamental for 3 reasons (among many others)

The application of FIA homologation to driver and co-driver suits
